Recently, the main body of the CO₂ drying module device developed by Lanzhou LS Heavy Equipment Co.,Ltd for the 264 million-kilowatt new energy and supporting coal power and carbon capture integrated project of Xinjiang Oilfield has been completed in manufacturing and assembly, and is about to be dispatched to the customer's site.
This device employs molecular sieve adsorption technology. It operates in a temperature-variable adsorption mode through the switching of three towers, integrating core equipment such as molecular sieve dehydration towers, regeneration gas coolers, regeneration gas heat exchangers, and coalescing filters, as well as auxiliary systems including measurement instruments, control valves, and analysis systems. This design effectively prevents corrosion and damage to pipelines and equipment, providing a qualified gas source for subsequent CO₂ compression, transportation, and oil displacement and storage. It helps Xinjiang Oilfield achieve the dual benefits of low-carbon production increase and resource recycling.
