Recently, the large all-welded circular plate-and-shell heat exchanger independently developed by LSPHE has been smoothly transported to the project site and is about to enter the installation and commissioning phase. The simultaneous achievement of two breakthroughs — "the largest heat transfer area" and "first-time application under working conditions" — fully demonstrates the Company’s technological accumulation and R&D strength in the field of high-end heat exchange equipment.
The heat transfer area of the delivered equipment reaches 1321.6 ㎡, making it the all-welded circular plate-and-shell heat exchanger with the largest single-unit heat transfer area ever manufactured by the Company. Adopting an all-welded circular plate-and-shell structure, the equipment features high heat transfer efficiency, strong pressure-bearing capacity and excellent sealing performance. It achieves simultaneous improvement in structural strength and manufacturing precision while supporting an ultra-large heat transfer area.
Meanwhile, this marks the first application of the Company’s all-welded circular plate-and-shell heat exchanger under refrigeration working conditions. In response to the stringent requirements of refrigeration conditions for low-temperature performance, pressure cycling and sealing reliability, the technical team carried out end-to-end research covering process calculation, structural optimization, material selection, inspection and testing, successfully filling the Company’s gap in applications under refrigeration working conditions.
The on-schedule delivery of this equipment represents another major achievement of LSPHE in continuously enhancing its R&D and manufacturing capacity for high-end heat exchange equipment and supporting green and low-carbon development. Going forward, the LSPHE will fully cooperate with on-site installation and commissioning to ensure high-quality commissioning and operation of the equipment. Building on this foundation, it will continue to deepen its efforts in high-end heat exchange equipment and steadily strengthen its core competitiveness.
